Change Is Good
Happy Labor Day! Whether you’re among those who are sad to see summer end, or happy because you prefer fall, don’t let the fact that it’s September bring about anxiety—or be the reason for a good or bad mood.
Think about the seasonal change a different way. Accept it as it is, enjoy the rest of the warm days, and consider the start of the school year as a fresh start for all of us.
Make fun plans to see the leaves turn, and embrace cooler temperatures as well. There's no point fighting it!
Technique of the Week: If shorter days cause you to suffer from seasonal affective disorder (SAD), try using artificial lights that mimic sunlight. Exercise helps relieve symptoms, too. The point is, don't let the weather or the season dictate your mood. Take charge! You are in control of your own happiness.
