Missing Something?
You Might Be! “Look around you.”
It’s so easy to say, but how often do we do it? So many people tell me that they feel badly because they never notice what’s right in front of them! Why is this? Just look around now … how many people have their heads buried in their phones feeling so connected but missing out on so much that’s right in front of them! I urge you to break this habit – even just for a few minutes at a time. Awareness is the first step toward change. Notice your opportunities to disconnect and then connect … with nature … with people! Look at the sky; notice the flowers; appreciate a young baby. Whatever it is, just stop and look around you!
If I hadn’t practiced this the other night, I would have missed out on noticing the beautiful mystery birdhouses that have been placed in my neighborhood to give people joy! What are you missing out on?
