Lessons Learned
Take control of your thoughts in unpleasant situations. The next time you find yourself feeling impatient, irritated or angry, notice what you are thinking and how you are breathing.
Consciously consider the person or situation as your teacher. Ask yourself, “What can I learn from this?” Remember, you can learn something from every situation!
If you’re stuck in a traffic jam, use it as an opportunity to practice patience. If a friend expresses an opinion that you disagree with, look at it as your chance to exercise some tolerance and possibly see things from a different perspective.
Think of life as your classroom, filled with all kinds of lessons.
